I have spent my career in rooms that were not built for me — and changing what happens inside them.

A first-generation college graduate, national teaching fellow, and published author of three books, I have moved from the classroom to the executive suite — most recently serving as Interim Co-CEO of a national education nonprofit and currently as Chief of Staff and Strategy. Through JP Coaching & Consulting, I partner with school districts, nonprofits, and people-centered organizations to close the gap between strategy and execution — building the clarity, capacity, and culture leaders need to drive measurable impact.

But my work doesn't stop at organizational systems. I am also a certified life and confidence coach who believes that the most important leadership development happens from the inside out. I don't teach confidence as a feeling you wait for — I teach it as a practice you build. I have done this work myself. I bring that into every room I enter.

An ordained minister, wife of fifteen years, mother of four, and grandmother of one, I know what it costs to keep showing up in systems not designed with you in mind. That knowledge doesn't weigh me down. It fuels everything I build.

People and organizations do not leave my work the same way they arrived. That is not a promise. It is a pattern.

Developing people is my purpose, and I feel most alive when I help people like you become the most aligned, confident, desirable version of themselves.

Before we get to work, there are three things you need to know.

  1. I am a coach, not a coddler.
    I’m always going to tell you the truth, even if it’s uncomfortable.

  2. Your life is a reflection of your choices.
    I will guide, strategize, and walk alongside you, but you are responsible for choosing the life you want.

  3. You must grow into the person who already has what you want.
     You can only change your results by changing yourself and your choices.
